International conference on spoken communication from different perspectives
(phonic, morphosyntactic, lexical, cognitive, pragmatic, semantic,
educational, anthropological, interactional, historical dimensions,
speech-language pathologies, ontogeny and phylogeny, tools and techniques).


Call for Papers:

Spoken Communication 2020
Università del Piemonte Orientale 6-7-8 May 2020

The next GSCP International Conference, “Spoken Communication 2020”, will be
held in Vercelli from 6 to 8 May 2020 and will be hosted by the University of
Eastern Piemont. For this conference, acceptable themes regarding spoken
communication include the following areas:

1. phonic dimension
2. morphosyntactic dimension
3. lexical dimension
4. cognitive dimension
5. pragmatic and semantic dimension
6. acquisitional dimension
7. educational dimension
8. anthropological and sociological dimension
9. interactional dimension
10. expressing emotions
11. speech-language pathologies
12. ontogeny and philogeny
13. history of the studies on spoken communication 14. tools and techniques

Beside the above mentioned thematic areas, two special sessions are devoted to
specialized communication (forensic, economic etc.) and to the use of orality
in literature.

Scholars interested in presenting papers at the conference should send an
abstract (approximately 600-1000 words) of the proposed contribution to
gscp2020 at gmail.com. The email should contain the following information: title
of the paper, name and email of the author(s), the preferred kind of
presentation (oral presentation or poster), key words, thematic areas.
Proposals will be anonymously submitted to the Scientific Committee, which
will decide whether and in what form each contribution will be presented.

The deadline for abstract submission is 30 November 2019.

The notifications of abstract acceptance will be sent out by 31 January 2020.
