Subject: RaAM Early Career Prize 2020: Call for Submissions

 
Dear all,

I am delighted to announce the call for submissions for the RaAM (Association
for Researching and Applying Metaphor) Early Career Research Paper Prize 2020!

The prize aims to encourage the production and dissemination of high quality
research in the broad field of metaphor, metonymy, and other figurative
expression. 

The prize is awarded every conference year for the best research paper
published by a researcher who has recently completed a PhD.

The prize for 2020 will be £200 + 1 year's free RaAM membership (until 21 June
2021).

Key dates:

- Deadline for submitting a paper: 18 April 2020
- Award to be announced at the RaAM 2020 Conference in Hamar, Norway, 18-21
June 2020
