Description:

Meridian Linguistics is looking for trained linguists (especially
phoneticians) with expertise in a variety of languages. All hiring is remote
and freelance (as independent contractors), and assignments range from small
paid tasks that can be worked around your day job, to more intensive long-term
assignments.

Who are we? We are a global and remote team of linguists based in Asia,
Europe, and the United States. Meridian Linguistics provides language
solutions for technology and business, including: translation, transcription,
linguistic analysis, phonetic analysis, multilingual SEO, multilingual data
mining, training of voice assistants, linguistic corpora sourcing, and more.

We have several urgent projects to be assigned, including IPA transcription of
200,000 words from 11 source languages which we would like to assign
immediately.
