Meeting Description:

ICRL is a conference organized every two years which aims at providing a forum
for researchers working on Romani linguistics.

The 14th International Conference on Romani Linguistics (ICRL14) will be
hosted by the Institute for Balkan Studies and the Committee for the Study of
Life and Customs of the Roma (Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts), in
Belgrade (Serbia) on September 10-11, 2020.


Call for Papers:

We invite contributions presenting original research in all areas of Romani
linguistics, including but not exclusive to: general linguistics, language
contact, historical linguistics, dialect classification, typology, pragmatics,
sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, language acquisition, and applied
linguistics.

Important dates:

Abstract submission: 15 February, 2020
Notification of acceptance: 31 March, 2020
Conference dates: 10-11 September, 2020

Abstract submission:

Abstracts should be anonymous and should not exceed 500 words (excluding
references). They should state a clear research question and provide
information about methodology, data, analysis, findings, and significance of
the results. 
Please submit your abstracts in word or pdf to 14icrl at gmail.com. All abstracts
should be in English.

Presentations will be 30 minutes (20 minutes + 10 minutes of discussion). The
language of the conference is English.
