Call for Papers:

The Toronto Working Papers in Linguistics is an online working papers journal
published by the Linguistics Graduate Student Union (LGCU) of the University
of Toronto Department of Linguistics.

We are currently accepting submissions for a general issue (Volume 42). This
is a general call for submissions from any of the following areas of
linguistics:
- Theoretical linguistics: phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics
(particularly within a generative framework)
- Language variation: sociolinguistics, dialectology, language variation &
change
- Psycholinguistics: comprehension and production, language acquisition

Normally, papers in applied linguistics, language pedagogy, or conversation
analysis lie outside of our focus and cannot be accepted for publication.
Submissions from both students and faculty are encouraged. We accept
submissions in both English and French.

The deadline for submission is December 1, 2019.

The page limit is 15 pages (excluding references and appendices)
To submit, visit our website
(https://twpl.library.utoronto.ca/index.php/twpl/index), create a login, and
follow the submission instructions. Papers submitted by email will not be
considered. The TWPL style guide for Microsoft Word are available on the
website (https://twpl.library.utoronto.ca/index.php/twpl/stylesheets).
Unfortunately, we do not have the style guide available in LaTeX.

All papers are free-access and published in online format.

Please contact us at twpl at utoronto.ca with any questions. We look forward to
