Description:

Spanish & Portuguese: Assistant Professor (tenure-track) to teach courses in
Spanish and Spanish linguistics, with a specialization in Second Language
Acquisition; maintain an active agenda of research and publication; teach
language and linguistics; and, contribute productive service.

Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Spanish or closely related field by date of appointment.

Consideration may be given to candidates with native or near-native fluency in
Spanish and English; or evidence of successful college-level teaching
experience; or the vision and energy to maintain excellence in the Spanish
Linguistics curriculum; or experience in Spanish as a Heritage language or
first language acquisition.
