The School of Languages and Social Sciences is an ambitious, expanding,
multidisciplinary School with an established reputation for excellence in
teaching and research.

The English Department are seeking to make a permanent full time appointment
at Lecturer level from 1st March 2020.

We are looking to appoint an individual who can make a significant
contribution in teaching and research. You should have a completed doctorate
in a relevant social science discipline, a track record of teaching on
undergraduate programmes of English, and an emerging research profile. We
welcome applications from any area of applied linguistics but a specialism in
corpus-based approaches to multi-modal analysis and language in the news media
