Dear colleagues,

we’re writing to alert you about StreamGram, an audio-visual platform for
theoretical linguistics talks.

StreamGram: Open Forum for Grammatical Theory is a platform for:

a) collecting audio-visual material (talks, seminars, lecture series, etc...)
on theoretical linguistics
b) sharing links for remote participation in events via streaming
c) having an overview of what's going on in your scientific community

We think it is time to use the technology available to let ideas circulate in
an easy and eco-friendly way. We created this virtual hub to allow everyone to
attend talks, seminars and lecture series remotely, with no need to actually
*going* to the conference site, and to stimulate the habit of
videoconferencing. Scholars from around the world can benefit from
participating in this initiative, and the planet may as well.

As you might have guessed from the title of our initiative, we wish to focus
on grammatical theory, without biases regarding the theoretical framework one
wants to adopt.

You can find more information on our website here: http://streamgram.eu

If you are hosting an event and are planning to stream it, please let us know
and we’ll post it on the website. If you haven’t thought of streaming it yet,
please DO! You can find tips on how to do it on our website.

We hope you you will join us in our effort to enhance Open Science and to
develop a fairer scientific community.
