Description:

The Linguistics Program in the Department of English at Florida International
University in Miami is seeking candidates for a nine-month,
tenured/tenure-track Open Rank (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or
Professor) faculty position in Phonology/Phonetics to begin Fall 2020. We are
seeking candidates to develop and maintain a line of research in
Phonology/Phonetics (area of specialization open) and participate in a strong
academic and research environment. 

A Ph.D. in Linguistics is required. An active research agenda and evidence of
extramural funding commensurate with rank are expected. Florida International
University, one of the nation’s largest Hispanic-serving universities, is a
minority/majority institution and is dedicated to the development of a campus
climate that supports equality and diversity.
