Description:

American University of Sharjah, an internationally ranked and accredited
American-style university of approximately 5,000 students in the United Arab
Emirates, seeks a full-time faculty member in Applied Linguistics to teach
courses in the undergraduate language program, general education, academic
writing, ESP, and in the MA TESOL program, in the Department of English.
Candidates should hold a completed PhD in Applied Linguistics.

Successful candidates will have a strong record of excellence in teaching,
ongoing scholarly publication, and a demonstrated commitment to productive
institutional service. The university is fully committed to equal opportunity

models, AUS will give priority to candidates who have substantial experience
in American models of higher education.
