Subject: Information request: ''falling language standards''

I am researching the phenomenon of perceived 'falling language standards' in
metalinguistic discourse (e.g. media articles, letters to the editor, etc.).
Although I will be focusing on English. I would like to ask LL readers to
provide me with links to articles that suggest standards are
falling/declining/degenerating (etc.) in other languages they are familiar
with. I have examples from French and German newspapers so far.
