survey of language and linguistics teachers’ and students’ adaptation to
remote instruction

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I hope this announcement finds Everyone in good health and spirits. I would
like to invite you to take part in research investigating how ① linguistics
and ② language Ⓐ teachers/instructors and Ⓑ students/learners have been coping
with the transition to 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. In particular, we
hope to understand what behaviours, attitudes and psychological traits have
helped you deal with the shift, and what was difficult. You will likely find
it easy to relate to many questions - several have been inspired by the
discussions in this forum. :-) The survey is anonymous and will solely serve
scientific purposes. It takes around 25 minutes to fill out; around 85% of the
questions are of the quick multiple-choice type.
There are four versions of the questionnaire:

for Lɪɴɢᴜɪsᴛɪᴄs ɪɴsᴛʀᴜᴄᴛᴏʀs ᴀɴᴅ TAs:
https://www.surveygizmo.eu/s3/90232576/Linguistics-instructors
for Lɪɴɢᴜɪsᴛɪᴄs sᴛᴜᴅᴇɴᴛs:
https://www.surveygizmo.eu/s3/90232892/Linguistics-students
for ʟᴀɴɢᴜᴀɢᴇ ᴛᴇᴀᴄʜᴇʀs:
https://www.surveygizmo.eu/s3/90232548/language-teachers
for ʟᴀɴɢᴜᴀɢᴇ ʟᴇᴀʀɴᴇʀs:
https://www.surveygizmo.eu/s3/90232669/language-learners

Thank you very much in advance for taking part! 🙏🏻 If you know instructors,
teachers, colleagues, friends, or students who have been teaching or learning
online this semester and might be interested in participating, please feel
free to share this announcement. :-)

Thank you so much in advance!

Stay safe and healthy!
