The Cross-Dictionary Monolingual Sense Linking system (XD-MoSeLink) is a
platform for linking dictionaries at the sense level developed at Oxford
Languages. It is a suite of tools consisting of:

- XD-BaSeLink: A basic system for linking senses from a monolingual and a
bilingual dictionary
- XD-QualE: A system for estimating the quality of the links resulting in the
previous phase
- XD-SemOver: A tool for assessing differences in granularity between any
linked senses

XD-MoSeLink currently links senses in the Oxford Dictionary of English to
senses in the English side of our bilingual dictionaries. However, it can be
adapted to other types of dictionaries as well.

It has been partly developed within the scope of the EU-funded Prêt-à-Llod
project, which aims to generate methodologies for linking language data.

Join Oxford Languages’ Roser Saurí, Language Technology Strategist, Julian
Grosse, Language Engineer, and Eirini Kouvara, Language Engineer, for an
overview of XD-MoSeLink, in an online interactive session where they will
cover:

- An introduction to the main use cases
- An overview of each of the platform’s components, their functionality and
the approach taken for their implementation
- Q&A time – bring your questions to the panellists, or send them in advance
to oxford.languagesoup.com

Who is this session for?
- Lexicographers interested in methods and tools for facilitating editorial
tasks
- Computational semanticists
- Researchers working on methods for developing and linking language resources

This webinar will be recorded and will be made available for viewing after the
live session. All registrants will be notified.
