The Australasian Language Technology Association (ALTA) is organising a
programming competition for university undergraduate and postgraduate
students.

Following on the series of shared tasks by ALTA since 2010, all participants
compete to solve the same problem. The problem highlights an active area of
research and programming in the area of language technology.

This year's shared task is about assessing human behaviour from textual data.

The tentative key dates are:

Right Now - Registration and release of training and development data
30 Oct 2020 - Deadline of submission of runs
3 Nov 2020 - Notification of results
20 Nov 2020 - Deadline of submission of system description
13-15 Jan 2021 - Presentation of results at ALTA workshop

Details of the task and registration are available at the competition website
(http://www.alta.asn.au/events/sharedtask2020).

Good luck!

Diego
