Subject: Future of Language

In your guy's opinions, what do you think is the likely future of language?
Since colonialism spread indo-european languages across the globe, would it
mix with those languages? Would one language rise up or would a mix of
languages dominate the scene in a place where cultures and languages mix in a
good balance like say a Mars colony a hundred or two hundred years down the
line? Mandarin is the most spoken with over a billion native but it isnt as
widely spread as like english so which would win in a place of balance or in a
globalized world a few hundred years down the line. Thank you for reading
this!
