''Minority language studies and neighbouring disciplines'' 
Location: Södertörn University, Stockholm, Sweden
Dates: June 2-4, 2020
Submission deadline: April 15, 2020 

With a special focus on the Nordic and Baltic regions, this conference will
deal with research on traditional and recent minority-group languages, the
relationship of minority language studies to other disciplines in the
humanities and social sciences, its methodological basis and recent trends, as
well as ethical issues pertaining to research on minorities. The goal of this
conference is to connect linguistics with other disciplines, and to develop
interdisciplinary interaction and cooperation.  
The participants will need to pay their own travel and accommodation costs.
There is no participation fee.

Call for Papers: 

Abstracts are invited for 20-minute talks. We welcome papers dealing with any
aspect of research on Nordic and Baltic minority languages, as well as
interdisciplinary papers combining linguistics e.g. with sociology,
psychology, cultural and literature studies, political science or education. 
Priority is given to papers discussing theories, methods or ethical issues. 

The abstracts (max one A4) written in English should be submitted
electronically using EasyAbs. The link is

the conference's international Program Committee.
