Description:

We invite applications for the MSc program on Language and Multimodal
Interaction (LMI) within the CIMEC Cognitive Science degree.

The LMI Master’s degree course is aimed at the acquisition of advanced
theoretical and methodological knowledge on human language as a part of the
mind-brain system. During the 2 year program students develop an expertise on
formal and computational linguistics methods in syntax and semantics, and
learn to apply machine learning technologies to language analysis and
understanding in interaction with other modalities. In their second year,
students are actively involved in developing research projects and have access
to UniTN laboratories and to research centers in Trento (the FBK
https://www.fbk.eu/en/), thus gaining invaluable hands-on experience with the
latest research technologies. The host institution, CIMEC, is a University of
Trento research center, internationally renowned for cognitive neurosciences.
CIMEC is located in Rovereto, TN, within the Italian Alps.
