Meeting Description:

The eighth meeting of the ''Formal and Experimental Advances in Sign language
Theory''  FEAST colloquium, will take place in Paris on June 18-19, 2020. 

FEAST is the forum to discuss to sign language, formal linguistics, as well as
experimental works (past editions
https://sites.google.com/site/feastconference/conferences). 

This edition is co-organized by the University of Paris, the CNRS at Institut
Jean-Nicod  and the Department of Structure Formelle du Langage at Paris 8.

This is a last minute change of venue, due to the public health hazard in Hong
Kong, the original venue. Hong Kong is planning to host FEAST in 2021.


Call for Papers: 

We invite both on stage presentations (30-minute presentation, followed by
10-minute questions and answers) and poster presentations on any formal and
experimental approaches to sign language research. Interpretation will be
provided between the following languages: IS, ASL and English.

NEW CONFERENCE DATES: 18 - 19 June, 2020
PRESENTATION LANGUAGES: ASL/IS and English. Interpretation between the
languages will be provided.

Anonymous abstracts should include a title and indicate whether it is intended
for on stage or poster presentation. Abstracts should not be longer than two
pages in length (including tables, examples and references), in 12-point type,
single line spacing and 2.5 cm margins.

New abstracts should be submitted in PDF format through the FEAST 2020

NEW DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:
The deadline has been extended until March 04, 2020 (abstracts submitted to
Hong-Kong FEAST 2020 will be taken into consideration for Paris FEAST 2020
unless the authors decide otherwise).

Those who already have submitted and intend keeping the submission for the new
venue do not have to resubmit a new abstract, unless they want to upload a
newer version.

Abstracts will be reviewed by an external panel and the reviewing process will
be double-blind. At maximum two abstracts (one of which must be co-authored)
can be submitted.

ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION: 5 April, 2020
