Meeting Description:

The following frame topics are planned for discussion:

- The multidimensional communicative environment: discursive practices and
genres
- Parametrization of discourses, genres, and text types
- Language specificity of various institutional and interpersonal discourses
- Narratives in mass media and social media
- Dynamics and variability of the linguistic world view
- Reflection of the linguistic world view in the mass media, new media, and
Internet communication
- Sociological aspects of language phenomena
- Language and communication in the current geopolitical situation
- Translation in the context of globalization and automation

Scholars, specialists, MA and Ph.D. students and young researchers in the
fields of linguistics, media, translation, sociology and public relations are
invited to participate in the conference. The proposals for round tables and
masterclasses are welcome. No fee is charged for participation.

Please submit your application for participation at our website by June 1,
2020.


Call for Papers:

Articles should be sent by October 1, 2020, to ltsjonline at gmail.com. The
Organizing Committee of the Conference reserves the right to select
presentations and papers, taking into account their relevance to the theme of
the Conference. There are no submission or publication fees.

The conference papers will be published in the “Bulletin of the International
Market Institute” (ISSN, Russian Science Citation Index). Authors of selected
papers will be invited to publish their articles in the peer-reviewed
international online journal “Language. Text. Society” (planned ISSN, Russian
Science Citation Index).
