Authors will be invited to indicate whether, if asked by the program
committee, they will be disposed to extend their paper and transform
it into a long paper (12 pages + references) within the indicated
timeframe.

It is also possible to submit a translation of a paper currently
within submission to another international conference within the short
paper format, thus adapting as necessary to fit the 6 pages
constraint. In this case, a mention ‘translation’ has to be indicated
during submission. This type of submission will not be susceptible to
be transformed to a long paper.

In this call, we invite two types of submissions:
-Articles presenting original and unpublished work
-Position papers presenting a point of view on the state of research in
NLP

Selected papers will be presented either orally or as posters as
determined by the program committee. All papers will be included in
the conference proceedings.

*Selection criteria*
Submissions will be double-blind reviewed by three domain experts. For
original research, the following will be considered;
    adequacy with the conference topics,
importance and originality of the contribution,
correction of the scientific and technical content,
critical analysis of the results and clear comparison to existing work,
    thorough state-of-the-art description,
organization and clarity of the presentation.

For position papers, the following will be considered:
breadth of vision and inclusion of references to state of the art,
originality and impact of the point of view presented.

A jury composed of members of the program committee and TAL journal
editorial board will attribute a best paper award. Authors of the best
papers will be invited to submit an extended version to the TAL
journal.

must not include the names or affiliations of the authors.
