Meeting Description:

The third Conference on English Language Education in the Chinese
Context—Enhancing Language Education with SLA Research and Corpus/Computer
Technologies will be held on May 16-17, 2020 at National Taiwan Normal
University. The conference aims to establish a global knowledge-exchanging
platform for English language education researchers, teachers and postgraduate
students to share views and perspectives on issues and trends in how to teach
or learn English in the Chinese context. Participants could discuss and debate
the present state, reform and development of English language education in
their specific context. Registration will be open on Mar. 15th. There is no
registration fee.

Conference Theme: Computer-Assisted Language Teaching, Technology and English

Please send your abstract (word file) to: elecc2020 at gmail.com
1. Deadline for abstract submissions: Feb. 20th  
2. Word counts: 250-300 words
3. Contents: background of the study, purpose of the study, research findings,
and conclusion
***please don’t submit the whole paper
***each first author can submit only one abstract
4. Please include the research title and keywords along with the abstract.
Also, specify the author’s name, affiliation, and email.
5. Notification of acceptance: Mar. 5

Format:
1. Font: Times New Roman
2. Double spaced
3. Place the title in the middle and bold it (14 pt)
4. For the abstract itself, use 12 pt font size.
5. For the keywords, please include 3-5 keywords and separate with “,”. Font
size: 12 pt.
6. If the abstract is accepted, please send a short paper of the abstract to
elecc2020 at gmail.com.
