Meeting Description:

The 49th NWAV conference will be held at the University of Texas at Austin.
This year's conference theme, ''Diversity in Variation,'' highlights the use
of diverse methods in studying many different types of languages and
communities.



Call for Papers: 

Papers and posters may address any topic related to language variation and/or
change. All abstracts will undergo anonymous review. All abstracts are due by
April 1, 2020, with notification of acceptance or rejection by May 15, 2020. 

We are able to offer the following options for participation in NWAV 49:
-Abstracts for regular papers and posters
-Proposals for special sessions
-Proposals for workshops
