Job profile : 
Research and teaching in the fields of linguistics and language didactics with
a specialization in discourse studies.

Teaching :

The selected candidate will be part of the faculty of the Linguistics
Department (SDL) of Lorraine University in Nancy, and teach primarily
enunciation theory, pragmatics, discourse analysis and language didactics. The
candidate must be in capacity of acting as a PhD supervisor both in
linguistics and in language didactics.
The future colleague will be expected to accept pedagogical responsibilities
within the department.

Research :

The future colleague will be a member of the research unit ATILF (Analyse et
Traitement Informatisé de la Langue Française) – CNRS, and primarily attached
to the ‘Discourse’ research team.
The future colleague’s research should mainly bear on discourse, principally
in relation to other linguistic dimensions such as pragmatics, semantics,
syntax, prosody, morphology or lexicology. This colleague will be expected to
develop collaborations with other teams with ATILF, in particular with the
‘Didactics and Sociolinguistics’ team and the ‘Lexicon’ team.

Research and publications in one or both of the following domains would be
most welcome:

Construction Grammars
and/or
design and exploitation of oral, written or multimodal corpora.
The future colleague is expected to be able to take on administrative
responsibilities within the research unit, to head projects and supervise PhD
students, and should have international publications.
