Subject: Double Degree Master in Translation and Cultural Mediation, Heidelberg University - University of Salamanca

 
The Master's Degree in Translation and Cultural Mediation is a two-year,
double-degree international master's degree offered by Heidelberg University
(Germany) and the University of Salamanca (Spain), funded by the German
Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

The program is offered to graduates in Translation, Linguistics, Literature,
Cultural Studies or related disciplines with excellent knowledge of German,
Spanish and English who wish to enhance the international and intercultural
profile of their academic formation. 

After completing the Master's degree, students receive the degrees of both
universities:
- M.A. Übersetzungswissenschaft (Heidelberg University) 
- Máster Universitario en Traducción y Mediación Intercultural (University of
Salamanca)

The two-year master's program is structured as follows:  
- First and second term: University of Salamanca
- Third and fourth term: University of Heidelberg

The areas of specialization of the double master's degree are linguistics,
specialized and intercultural communication and specialized translation
(legal, scientific-technical and publishing translation). The curriculum
includes internships in Spain and Germany. The Master's thesis is supervised
by professors from Heidelberg University and the University of Salamanca.
