The Linguistics Department of the University of Göttingen is pleased to
announce the launch of our “Glottothèque: Ancient Indo-European Grammars
online”: 

- 170 free video lectures on 12 Ancient Indo-European languages
- Old Albanian, Avestan, Classical Armenian, Gothic, Ancient Greek, Hittite,
Old Irish, Early Latin, Old Lithuanian, Old Church Slavonic, Tocharian, Early
Vedic 
- 25 leading experts on ancient Indo-European languages from across Europe and
the US
- up-to-date synchronic grammatical descriptions
- top-down approach to grammatical categories informed by contemporary
research in general linguistics and typology
- easy comparability across languages due to parallel design
- navigation by language or by linguistic module
