Meeting Description: 

Our conference is a proactive platform for backing up theoretical research
with professional experience, where practical accomplishments underpinned by
translation theory will define the future of translation studies. We aim to
provide a multi-format interdisciplinary environment for effective exchange of
original ideas towards optimization of translation processes, improving
translation quality, and incrementally building up and streamlining its
methodology.
 

Announcement: 

The conference program includes plenary presentations by Ukrainian and foreign
translation practitioners and theoreticians; round tables dedicated to
specific aspects of translation; workshops; trainings on consecutive and
simultaneous interpretation, literary translation, and use of CAT tools. We
invite contributions from the following fields:
1) Translation for the EU;
2) Literary Translation;
3) Specialized Translation;
4) Audiovisual Translation;
5) Translation and Technologies;
6) Translation and Business;
7) Interpreting

Conference languages: Ukrainian, English.

To participate in the conference, please fill out a Google form at:
https://forms.gle/fTW1oghXSbVvNFQH6 by 15 November, 2020.

The confirmation of conference participation will be sent before 22 November,
2020.

Certificates of attendance will be provided to all participants, both speakers
and listeners. The fee for participation for listeners is 500 UAH (equivalent
of 20 Euros for the participants from other countries), the fee for students
is 250 UAH. Conference participation for speakers is free of charge.

All conference participants (speakers and listeners) will receive certificates
of attendance on condition of actual presence at the conference.
