Description:

The Department of Linguistics at Université de Paris is expected – pending
approval – to open a position at the rank of Assistant Professor (Maître de
Conférences - MCF) in Psycholinguistics and Phonology, starting in Fall 2021.

Candidates must show promise of strong scholarship, a good publication record,
and a commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will have
dual expertise in psycholinguistics and phonology, combining good knowledge of
cutting-edge experimental methods with a strong focus on empirical and
experimental research.

The candidate is expected to join the Laboratoire de Linguistique Formelle
(LLF – http://www.llf.cnrs.fr) and the broader research network to which it
belongs, the LabEx “Empirical Foundations of Linguistics” (EFL –
http://www.labex.efl.org).

Teaching will involve graduate and undergraduate courses and graduate seminars
in psycholinguistics and in phonology in the Linguistics department
(http://www.linguist.univ-paris-diderot.fr). A working knowledge of French is
expected.

Salary is set in accordance with the French state-regulated public service
salary scale.

Qualification:
- All candidates (French and international) are required to have received the
“qualification” by the national committee (CNU – Conseil National des
Universités) before they can apply for a position. For the qualification
stage, candidates are invited to register online and submit dossier before
November 6th 2020 on the Galaxie website of the French Ministère de
l'Enseignement Supérieur". The pieces of the dossier and all instructions are
listed on the Galaxie website provided below.

Job application:
- The position, if approved, will start on September 1st 2021. The website for
the second stage of the process will be open in spring 2021. The closing date
mentioned below is tentative.
