The OED is a powerful online linguistic resource, providing a wealth of
essential language data for academic research.

With the aim of offering researchers new, more direct, and more flexible ways
to access this massive curated dataset and to gain richer insights in the
English language, we have started the OED Labs initiative.

Within the scope of OED Labs, we are developing digital tools and new
functionality for the exploration of the OED dataset.
Tania Styles, Editor: Revision and Etymology, and James McCracken, Language
Engineering Manager, will be presenting a live interactive online session
where they will provide an overview of the latest tools and functionality
under development:

- OED Researcher API
- OED Text Visualizer
- OED Etymology visualization tool
- Future OED Labs plans

There will be a Q&A session at the end: bring your questions to the
panellists, or send them in advance to oed.uk at oup.com

Who is this for?
Researchers across all disciplines interested in potential partnerships to
help shape the development of new digital tools that harness the power of the
OED aid the evolution of academic research.

This webinar will be recorded and will be made available for viewing after the
live session. All registrants will be notified.
