Description:

Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Faculty of Language and Literature, Institute
for German Language and Linguistics seeks to fill the position of a senior
researcher (=Wissenschaftliche*r Mitarbeiter*in at the postdoctoral level)
with 2/3 part-time employment max. limited for 6 years according to WissZeitVG
– E 13 TV-L HU.

Field of Duty:
- Research and teaching in relevant areas of general linguistics; 
- Collaboration in the current research projects of the Chair of General
Linguistics;
- Collaboration in academic self-administration; 
- Tasks for own scientific qualification.

We Expect:
- An outstanding MA degree and PhD in general linguistics or a related
subject;
- Research focus in grammar theory (especially syntax and/or
semantics/pragmatics); 
- Expertise in the fields of language comparison/typology and/or linguistic
field research; 
- Experience in experimental linguistics / focus on experimental methodology
and data collection; 
- Very good command of English.
