Subject: Survey: Teacher beliefs about teaching languages with technology during COVID-19

Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to participate in a research project. The purpose of the
research study is to better understand the professional life of World,
Foreign, and Second language teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The
questions seek to answer how the pandemic affects teachers’ beliefs about
themselves as educators, the use of technology, and how everything is affected
by new or different teaching forms, e.g., face-2-face, hybrid, and virtual
teaching.

If you agree to participate, you will complete an online survey, which should
take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

If you know of other World, Foreign, or Second language educators, please
encourage them to complete this survey as well.

Your participation is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions or
concerns, please contact Dr. Nils Jaekel at njaekel at utk.edu

This project has been approved by the University of Tennessee’s Institutional
Review Board (IRB # UTK IRB-20-06027-XM)
