Description:

The Graduate School Language & Literature – Class of Language at LMU Munich
offers a PhD scholarship for International doctoral candidates. The
scholarship is part of the Graduate School Scholarship Programme (GSSP)
provided by the DAAD. It has a duration of a maximum of four years and will
begin in autumn of this year. Applicants must not have resided in Germany for
more than 15 months prior to the nomination.

A doctoral place within the Class of Language provides a research-oriented and
systematically structured interdisciplinary syllabus, an individual and
intensive advisory support for doctoral candidates and a variety of
opportunities for exchanges among doctoral candidates, professors and
international visiting scholars. Furthermore, there is the opportunity to
jointly organize international conferences with other doctoral candidates
