Meeting Description: 

Le colloque international « Les mutations des discours médiatiques : approche
contrastive et interculturelle » est organisé conjointement par l’Université
Grenoble Alpes (France) et la Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau (Allemagne).

Ce colloque international a pour objectif de revenir sur les outils théoriques
et méthodologiques pour penser les discours médiatiques dans une perspective
contrastive. Conçu avant tout comme une interface entre la recherche allemande
et française, ce colloque est également ouvert à d’autres perspectives
susceptibles d’enrichir le débat portant sur la définition et les mutations
des discours médiatiques.

Ce colloque international et interdisciplinaire devrait offrir aux
participant/es la possibilité de mettre en relation les différentes approches,
perspectives et traditions scientifiques utilisées par les chercheurs/ses
issus/es de différents pays.

En raison de la pandémie, le colloque aura lieu par visioconférence.

Die internationale Tagung „Wandlungsprozesse in medialen Diskursen:
kontrastive und interkulturelle Ansätze“ wird gemeinsam von der Universität
Grenoble Alpes (Frankreich) und der Westsächsischen Hochschule Zwickau
(Deutschland) veranstaltet.

Das Ziel der geplanten Tagung besteht darin, bestehende theoretische und
methodische Ansätze neu zu denken, um auf dieser Grundlage ein tragfähiges
Analysemodell für die kontrastive Beschreibung medialer Diskurse zu
entwickeln. Wenngleich die Kontrastierung insbesondere deutscher und
französischer Forschungsansätze im Zentrum der Tagung steht, sind weitere
methodische Perspektiven willkommen, die die Diskussion um die Definition von
Textsorten sowie hinsichtlich von Wandlungsprozessen in medialen Diskursen
bereichern.

Die internationale und interdisziplinäre Tagung eröffnet den TeilnehmerInnen
die Möglichkeit, bestehende Forschungsansätze und national bzw. kulturell
geprägte Wissenschaftstraditionen im Bereich der Medienlinguistik miteinander
in Bezug zu setzen. Das erklärte Ziel der Tagung besteht darin, einen Dialog
zwischen den Disziplinen der Sprachwissenschaft, der Semiotik, der
Informationswissenschaften, der Geschichtswissenschaft der Soziologie und den
Bildungswissenschaften anzustoßen bzw. zu vertiefen.

Aufgrund der Pandemie wird die Tagung online stattfinden. Die Anmeldung ist
kostenlos aber bis zum 2. Juni erforderlich.

The international conference “Changes in media discourse: a contrastive and
intercultural approach” is jointly organised by the University Grenoble Alpes
(France) and the Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau (Germany).

The aim of the planned conference is to rethink existing theoretical and
methodological approaches in order to develop an analytical model for the
contrastive description of media discourses. Although the contrasting of
German and French research approaches in particular is at the centre of the
conference, further methodological perspectives are welcome to enrich the
discussion on the definition of text genres as well as with regard to changes
in media discourses.

The international and interdisciplinary conference will give participants the
opportunity to relate existing research approaches and nationally or
culturally shaped academic traditions in the field of media linguistics. It
aims to initiate a dialogue between the disciplines of linguistics, semiotics,
communication studies, history, sociology and educational studies.

Due to the pandemic, the conference will be held online. Registration is free
of charge but required before 2 June.
