Linguistic Field(s): Computational Linguistics; General Linguistics; Ling & Literature; Pragmatics; Semantics; Text/Corpus Linguistics

Call for Papers:

Triangle is now accepting submissions for its next issue (to be published in
December 2021). Articles dealing with any topic in linguistics, literary
studies and computer science are welcome.

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts. Paper submissions should be made as
anonymised files e-mail attachments to the following address triangle at urv.cat

Triangle is an open access electronic publication devoted to any topic related
to language, literature and computation.

Triangle welcomes contributions in any of the three journal areas:
linguistics, literary studies and computer science. However, preference is
given to articles involving/relating at least two of the vertices of the
triangle. Studies relating language and literature or any of these two
disciplines with computation will be warmly welcome.

Triangle was born in 2010 with the aim of promoting interdisciplinary research
in the fields of linguistics, literary studies and computer science. Triangle
intends to disseminate original, relevant, innovative and high-quality papers
in the space of confluence of those three research areas. The journal name,
Triangle, intends to reflect, through the three vertices of the figure, the
three topics of interest for this publication (language, literature and
computation) and aims to evidence that preference is given to articles that
focus on the edges of the triangle, this is, works that relate, at least, two
of the three involved disciplines.

Triangle is addressed to a specialized audience interested in the adoption of
new methods (especially formal and computational) in the study of language and
literature.

Contributions to Triangle may be made in any of the following
categories/forms:
- Papers that report significant new research in any of the journal topics.
- Monographic Issues containing the contribution of a single author that
focuses on new research results or that presents didactic introductions to new
research topics or that surveys the state of the art of an area in order to
provide a good starting point for non-experts.
- Special Issues containing a collection of essays/articles, written by
several researchers, around a well-established topic.

The languages of submission and publication are preferably English and
Spanish. However, papers in Catalan and French will be also accepted.

Manuscripts for Triangle should be submitted electronically in two different
formats: 1) a Word or LaTeX (plain) file and 2) a PDF file.

Paper submissions should be made as anonymised files e-mail attachments to the
following address: triangle at urv.cat
