Meeting Description:

The Department of Linguistics (School of Philology) of the Aristotle
University of Thessaloniki is pleased to announce the 42nd Annual Meeting to
be held in Thessaloniki on May 5-8, 2022. This year's meeting will also
include a special themed session on ''Language Typology''. A pre-conference
postgraduate workshop will be held on the first day of the conference.

Invited Speakers:
- Elena Anagnostopoulou, University of Crete
- Dimitra Melissaropoulou, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
- Ioanna Kappa, University of Crete
- Stavros Skopeteas, University of Göttingen

Venue:

AMGL 42 will be held as a hybrid conference offering onsite and virtual
versions, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The conference will be held in
Teloglion Fine Arts Foundation, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and
on-line.

Call for Papers:

The Meeting welcomes high-quality and original contributions which explore any
area of linguistic analysis (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax,
semantics, pragmatics and discourse analysis). Papers on a special themed
session on ''Language Typology'' are also welcome.

Those who wish to participate in the 42nd Annual Meeting with a presentation
are invited to electronically submit their abstracts as .pdf files by January
25, 2022 to EasyChair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=amgl42

Notification of acceptance will be sent on February 20, 2022.

Each participant is entitled to submit up to two abstracts (single or joint),
only one of which may be oral and only one of which may be single-authored.
The abstract(s) should be free of self-citations.
