Through our Wikipedia Student Program, Wiki Education strives to empower
faculty and students to improve Wikipedia content. The idea is a simple, but
powerful concept. Students improve Wikipedia as part of their course work, all
while honing critical digital literacy skills. The program is free to join to
all faculty at institutions of higher education in the U.S. and Canada.

In the past several years, about 3000 students across 150 courses have added
almost two million words to Wikipedia in the field of linguistics. I hope
you'll join us in the Winter/Spring 2022 term and continue this important work
of making knowledge freely available to a wide audience.
