Subject: Sociolinguist Study

 
Greetings,
The researchers from the Linguistics Department at the University of Iowa are
currently looking for participants for a study exploring name perception,
which takes place online.

We are recruiting for a study that involves completing an online survey
consisting of a series of questions. The questions include both
multiple-choice and short response questions. You will be answering questions
about your experience with pronouncing different names and how your first name
is pronounced by others. You will also be asked a few questions related to
your personal background. You are free to skip any questions that you prefer
not to answer. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes. 
To be eligible to participate, you must: 1) be living in the U.S.; 2) be
between the ages of 18-40.
