El 6º Encuentro Wedisyn sobre variación sintáctica tendrá lugar el 2 y 3 de
junio de 2022 en la Universidad de Zúrich. El encuentro forma parte de las
actividades de la red de sintaxis dialectal Wedisyn (Dialectal Syntax in
Westmost Europe), que se centra en el estudio de la variación sintáctica de
todas las lenguas habladas en la península ibérica así como el bretón.

The 6th Wedisyn Workshop on Syntactic Variation will take place on June 2nd
and 3rd 2022 at the University of Zurich. The meeting belongs to the
activities of the dialectal syntax network Wedisyn (Dialectal Syntax in
Westmost Europe), which focusses on the study of syntactic variation in all
languages spoken in the Iberian Peninsula as well as Breton.


Convocatoria de propuestas:

Si bien parte del programa está reservado para presentaciones de los equipos
miembros de la red, la mitad del programa está abierta a contribuciones de
investigadores externos. Por ello, invitamos a la presentación de
contribuciones sobre variación sintáctica de todas las lenguas habladas en la
península ibérica (incluyendo portugués, gallego, asturiano, español, vasco y
catalán, aunque la lista no ha de entenderse como necesariamente exhaustiva) y
el bretón. Las comunicaciones durarán 20 minutos y estarán seguidas de 10
minutos de preguntas del público.  

Las contribuciones pueden realizarse en cualquier lengua iberorrománica así
como en inglés. 

La fecha límite de aceptación de resúmenes será el 31 de enero de 2022. Los
resúmenes no deberán sobrepasar las 500 palabras (excluyendo bibliografía y
ejemplos) y han de enviarse por correo electrónico a Carlota de Benito Moreno.

Call for Papers:

Although some slots of the programme are reserved for the teams that belong to
the network, half of the programme is open to contributions by external
researchers. Accordingly, we call for proposals for talks about syntactic
variation in all the languages spoken in the Iberian Peninsula (including but
not restricted to Portuguese, Galicia, Asturian, Spanish, Basque and Catalan)
and Breton. The duration of the talks should be of 20 minutes, followed by a
10-minute period of questions from the attendants. 

Proposals can be in any Ibero-Romance language, as well as in English.  

The deadline for sending a proposal is January 31st 2022. Abstracts cannot
have more than 500 words (excluding references and examples) and must be sent
to Carlota de Benito Moreno.
