Call for Papers:

Full CfP:
The theme of ICAME 43 is ‘Corpus Linguistics: a new normal?’
As we move into the third decade of the 21st century, what has changed, what
has stayed the same, and is there a ‘new normal’ in corpus linguistics?
The conference will be based on the typical ICAME format: on the Wednesday
afternoon we begin with pre-conference workshops, followed by an evening
reception. Other regular events include a boat trip and gala dinner. The
conference will end on Saturday afternoon.

Academic Programme
The programme will consist of full papers, work-in-progress reports, a poster
session, software demonstrations, and invited plenary talks (speakers to be
confirmed soon). There will also be a small number of pre-conference
workshops.

We invite abstracts for full papers, work-in-progress reports, software
demonstrations, and posters on any topic related to the conference theme,
broadly interpreted.
Full papers will be 30 minutes, including 10 minutes for discussion.
Work-in-progress reports will be 15 minutes, including 5 minutes for
discussion.
Software demonstrations will be 30 minutes, including 10 minutes for
discussion.
Poster presenters will briefly (about 5 mins) introduce their posters during a
special session. Posters must be maximum A0 size (portrait) and will be on
display for the duration of the conference.

Submission of abstracts
Abstracts should be between 400 and 500 words (excluding references) and
should clearly state research questions, approach, method, data and (expected)
results. Authors may submit a maximum of two abstracts if at least one paper
is co-authored.
