Meeting Description:

Kartvelology Research Center at Akaki Tsereteli State University organises an
international Scientific Conference  ''Kutaisi Discussions''. Dedicated to the
outstanding Georgian Kartvelologist and the founder of ''Kutaisi
Discussions'', Prof. Tariel Putkaradze. 

Organised since 1994 in Kutaisi, Georgia, Kutaisi DIscussions-17 will be held
online on May 14-15, 2021.  
 
The conference focuses on the topical problems of the Kartvelology
(dialectology, linguistic Fieldwork, computational and corpus linguistics,
History, Anthropology, Archeology, etc.). The proceedings of the conference
and the texts of Kartvelian dialects obtained by the staff of the Centre are
published in the peer-reviewed e-journal ''Kartvelian Heritage'' Kartvelian
Heritage (https://ejournals.atsu.ge/Kartvelology/index.php?lng=En) . 


Call for Papers: 

The main topics of the conference are  (but not limited to):
- Kartvelian Linguistics
- Computational and Corpus Linguistics
- European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages and Endangered languages
- Dialectology and Linguistic Fieldwork
- Georgian Folklore and Literature studies
- History and Archaeology, Anthropology and Ethnography of Georgia
- Georgian Art, Culture and Philosophy

Conference languages: Georgian, English.

The accepted papers will be published in the volume XXV of the peer-reviewed
Scientific Journal – ''Kartvelian Heritage''.
