Call for Papers: 

Teanga invites you to submit original and unpublished papers (up to 6,000
words), project reports (up to 2,000 words) and book reviews for TEANGA, the
Journal of the Irish Association for Applied Linguistics, Volume 28. Deadline:
28 February 2021.

The peer-reviewed journal TEANGA (the Irish word for 'language') was first
published by IRAAL in 1979. Originally devoted exclusively to papers presented
at IRAAL seminars and conferences, TEANGA now includes the best of these
papers, as well as book reviews, research and project reports, and other
significant contributions in applied linguistics. Since 2016, TEANGA has been
published as a bilingual, open-access online academic journal, commencing with
Volume 24 and is indexed in Scopus. From volume 28 onwards, the editors are
Jennifer Bruen, Inmaculada Gómez Soler, Siobhán ní Laoire and Lucía Pintado
Gutiérrez.

The deadline for submissions is February 28, 2021. Authors will be notified by
June 1, 2021 of the preliminary review outcome. Submissions should be made at
journal.iraal.ie, where detailed guidelines for manuscripts and proposals are
available. All contributions will be reviewed on a double-blind basis before
final review by the editors. Publication of the journal is scheduled for the
IRAAL Annual Conference in November 2021.
