Description:

The Department of Linguistics seeks applications for a full-time lecturer in
syntax or semantics. The lecturer will be responsible for teaching four
courses (two per semester), including an undergraduate introduction to
linguistics, at least one other undergraduate course to be determined, and at
least one graduate course to be determined. The successful candidate must be
available to contribute to the advising of both undergraduates and graduates
in their area. The one-year appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2021
and end on June 30, 2022.

Basic Qualifications: Doctorate in linguistics or related discipline required
by the time the appointment begins.

Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching is
desired.
