Abstract:

Lässt sich die aus einer langen angelsächsischen Literaturtradition stammende
Kategorie ‚Nature Writing’ auch für die deutschsprachige Literaturgeschichte
produktiv machen? Welche transnationalen Verbindungen gibt es, in welchem
Verhältnis steht das Nature Writing zur Naturlyrik und weiteren literarischen
Gattungen? Warum hat sich in der Germanistik das Nature Writing als Kategorie
bislang kaum etablieren können? Mit diesen und weiteren Fragen setzen sich
international anerkannte Literaturwissenschaftler*innen kritisch auseinander.
