The theme and title of the upcoming webinar is ''Tribal Lifestyle:
Literature-Culture-Anthropology'' or ''আদিবাসী জীবনযাত্রা:
সাহিত্য-সংস্কৃতি-নৃতত্ত্ব''. 

This 3-day International Webinar is being organised on behalf of the
International Bilingual Journal of Culture Anthropology & Linguistics (IBJCAL)
e-ISSN: 2582-4716, in collaboration with the School of Languages &
Linguistics, Jadavpur University and LingClub, Jadavpur University, Kolkata. A
Holistic approach towards appreciating and forming educated opinions, based on
actual research and serious academic deliberations / interactions, about the
Culture, Heritage, Customs, Traditional Beliefs and Values, Practices,
Cultural Development, Inter-cultural Facts; Intra-cultural facts, Language
origin, Language Attitudes, Language Adoption, Value Maintenance, Cultural
Maintenance through language, Language Technology and Future Perspectives of
the various Indigenous peoples / Tribal communities / Adivasis of India.

Towards that end, Anthropological, Cultural, Socio-economic, Ethno-linguistic,
studies on any Tribal community or any field work towards documentation of the
same (including endangered and lesser known communities - that encompasses
their language, ancestry, culture, heritage, religion, customs, rituals,
society, family structure, literature, folklore, art and craft, industry,
livelihoods, etc.) will be appreciated. The status of the community’s language
and how they are dealing with a dominant language near them can also be
studied and included in your research work. Notwithstanding the above
explicitly mentioned areas, research papers and talks in associated / related
thematic areas, are also welcomed.
 

Program Information: 

IBWTL-1, 2020-21 is the first 3-Day International Webinar organised on behalf
of the International Bilingual Journal of Culture, Anthropology & Linguistics,
(IBJCAL), eISSN: 2582 4716, in collaboration with the School of Languages &
Linguistics, Jadavpur University and LingClub, Jadavpur University, to be
held, online, on 29 - 30 December, 2020 and 15 January, 2021. Registration is
FREE OF COST.
