Call for Papers: 

Dear Colleagues,
the Editorial Board of the scientific journal SOCJOLINGWISTYKA (ISSN:
0208-6808) is inviting papers for its newest issue no 35 which is scheduled to
be published on December 2021. The deadline for submissions is 31 March 2021.
Please note, that articles should be submitted via Online Submission System
(https://socjolingwistyka.ijp.pan.pl/index.php/SOCJO/about/submissions).

SOCJOLINGWISTYKA is an open-access and peer-reviewed academic journal
published by the Institute of the Polish Language Polish Academy of Sciences.
We provide a solid platform to exchange ideas for all academics, scholars, and
those who take a great interest in current issues and trends in
sociolinguistics. We welcome original research papers (both linguistic and
interdisciplinary) that explore the theoretical and methodological framework
of sociolinguistics. SOCJOLINGWISTYKA covers wide range of interdisciplinary
issues, such as: the development of language from the social, cultural and
political perspective; position of sociolinguistics and language sociology
among other disciplines; discourse as a language and social practice,
sociolinguistics’ research methodology; situation and status of languages,
national and ethnic minorities, language policy, multilingualism; sociolects,
idiolects, language in urban and rural environment.

Journal is listed on the European List of Humanities Journals ERIH. It is
indexed in the Central European Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities
database, Pol-index/PBN, ICI Journal Master List. It belongs to the list of
scientific journals of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education
(discipline: linguistics) – 70 points. 

Articles published  in SOCJOLINGWISTYKA are licensed under the Creative
Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY-ND 4.0).
