Requirements:
Experience in teaching in Discourse Analytic approaches in Linguistics and
ability to supervise in these approaches required.

Candidates must be able to offer a unique contribution that strengthens our
teaching programme. It would be especially advantageous if candidates were
able to demonstrate: discourse analysis of indigenous African languages and/or
languages which may contribute toward the transformation of the curriculum;
computational/computer-driven approaches to Discourse Analysis.

A PhD in Linguistics is required. Candidates who are close to completing a PhD
may be considered, provided convincing evidence is submitted. Tutoring and/or
teaching experience required. Must be willing to develop a teaching interest
in a range of linguistics modules at undergraduate level.
The following documents are required:

- A comprehensive CV and relevant qualifications, including academic
transcripts;
- Evidence of PhD studies to be submitted for those close to completion;
