Description:

The Department of Translation and Language Sciences at Universitat Pompeu
Fabra (Barcelona) is seeking candidates with a teaching and research profile
for a full-time postdoctoral contract for the 2021-2022 academic year in the
area of Translation for the Media (English-Catalan/Spanish and
Catalan/Spanish–English).

Applicants must hold a PhD from an university other than UPF at the time of
application and must present evidence of excellence in research, with
publications at the international level. In addition, applicants must
demonstrate ability to teach undergraduate and Master’s level courses in the
area. Translation experience is desirable. The teaching load is comparable to
that of a full-time lecturer. The envisaged starting date is from the 1st of
September 2021 to the 1st of January 2022.
