Meeting Description:

AZCALL is a one-day conference held each year that brings together
computer-assisted language learning enthusiasts from around the state and
region to share ideas, network, and receive valuable feedback on scholarly
research, academic papers, and major conference presentations which are in
progress or preparation.

The conference will be held online, so all are welcome to submit. This year we
will have Dr. Julie Sykes, from the University of Oregon and Dr. Zsuzsanna
Abrams from UC Santa Cruz as our plenary speakers. 


Call for Papers: 

The Call for Proposals for AZCALL 2021 Virtual Conference is open! The
deadline is July 30, 2021. 

We seek proposals for presentations and tech-fair demonstrations from those
working in any area of computer-assisted language learning (CALL) and
teaching. We particularly welcome proposals with well-defined theoretical
frameworks connected to research in SLA, CALL, L2 pedagogy, and related
fields. Projects displaying innovative research methods and topics are highly
encouraged. 

AZCALL 2021 will be held virtually, and presenters will be required to upload
a video of 10 - 15 minutes in the Whova app, which also provides the ability
to participate in Q&A with attendees. More info will be provide upon proposal
acceptance. 

After you submit your proposal, you'll be sent an email with link that will
allow you to edit your submission until the CfP deadline. 

Deadline: July 30, 2021 at 11:59 pm AZ time. 
Proposal acceptances will be sent on August 30, 2021
