Meeting Description: 

Siamo liete di annunciare la Giornata di studi su “Modalità (e dintorni) in
siciliano”, che si terrà online il 6 luglio 2021 (MS Teams). 

L’incontro è organizzato dal Dipartimento di Lingue e letterature romanze
dell’Università Masaryk di Brno e dai Dipartimenti di Scienze umanistiche e
Culture e società dell’Università di Palermo.

Lo scopo dell’incontro è di promuovere la discussione e il confronto tra
ricercatori che, da qualsiasi prospettiva teorica, siano interessati alle
diverse forme e funzioni nell’ambito delle modalità e/o in ambiti contigui
come la direttività o l’evidenzialità.

We are pleased to announce the one day meeting on “Modality (and around) in
Sicilian”, which will be held online on July 6, 2021 (MS Teams). 

The meeting is organised by the Department of Romance Languages and
Literatures of the Masaryk University of Brno and the Departments of
Humanities and Culture and Society of the University of Palermo.

The aim of the meeting is to promote discussion and exchange among researchers
who, from any theoretical perspective, are interested in the different forms
and functions within modality and/or in contiguous domains such as directivity
or evidentiality.
