Subject: Estudos sociolinguísticos sobre o português europeu Insular falado no Funchal

 
The doctorate program of Linguistics and the research group ‘Spanish Grammar
Group’ of the University of Santiago de Compostela have the pleasure of
presenting a linguistic meeting with the professor Dr. Aline Bazenga from the
University of Madeira. The professor will show some methodological issues with
the collection of linguistic data in the island of Funchal (Portugal):
sociolinguistic criteria, difficulties to collect the linguistic samples,
difficulties with the analysis of this information, etc. 

The discussion will be addressed to linguistic PhD students, researchers and
professors as well, and will take place on July 6th in the Faculty of
Philology of the University of Santiago de Compostela and will be
retransmitted online (16 h.-20 h.)
