Meeting Description:

The Graduate Students of Linguistics (GSLING) at the University of South
Carolina invites abstract submissions for presentations for the biannual
Student Research Symposium (SRS), which will be held virtually on Saturday,
April 10, 2021 via Zoom.

SRS provides an excellent opportunity to share research in a collaborative
setting with colleagues in language-related disciplines, including
linguistics, anthropology, education, psychology, and philosophy. Because of
the virtual nature of the symposium this year, we gladly invite submissions
from researchers from across local, regional, national, and global university
levels. Paper presentations will run 20 minutes, followed by a 10-minute
discussion period.

Registration to attend the conference is free but recommended, to allow us to
better plan to accommodate presenters and guests. Please register by Monday,
April 5 using this link: https://forms.gle/nhVFvx56aMenUaDG7

Call for Papers:

We invite abstracts of up to 350 words, excluding title and references, for
20-minute presentations. Abstracts will undergo blind review, so author names
should not appear anywhere on abstracts. The deadline for abstracts is
Wednesday, March 17. Those accepted will be notified no later than Wednesday,
March 24. Abstracts should be submitted through EasyAbstract at the
following link: http://linguistlist.org/easyabs/UofSCSRS.
